Built for volleyball players,

volleyOS is made by Maggie and Logan, a married couple who play and coach at a volleyball club in Hertfordshire, England. Logan referees too, so we tend to see a match from a few sides at once. We started it in 2026.
It started because we wanted to know what actually happened in our own games. We filmed them, then sat down afterwards with the footage, pausing and rewinding and keeping tallies on paper next to each player's name. Kills, errors, who served the run that turned a set. It worked, and it ate whole evenings, and the next match was usually played before we had finished counting the last one.
Fixing that for ourselves led somewhere we had not planned. Local clubs have very little built for them. There is plenty for the bigger sports and for professional setups with a budget, and almost nothing that understands volleyball and suits a club run by volunteers. Most keep their whole online life in a group chat and a spreadsheet, and it vanishes when the person holding it moves on.
So volleyOS became a home online for a volleyball club, one that belongs to the club rather than to us. We want more people playing volleyball. If this helps a few more find the game and stay in it, it has done its job.
